Creamline sweeps Akari to open PVL All-Filipino Conference in dominant fashion

MANILA, Philippines — The Creamline Cool Smashers started their campaign on the right foot after a straight-set win over the Akari Chargers, 25-18, 25-21, 25-18, in the 2026-27 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Saturday night at the SM Seaside Cebu Arena. The defending champions Creamline asserted its dominance early, not allowing the Chargers to score a set. With the return of captain Jia De Guzman in the lineup, the Cool Smashers remained on track with their title-defense bid in the All-Filipino Conference. Creamline contained the forces of Ivy Lacsina and Grethcel Soltones to snatch its first victory in the tournament.
