The latest series of virtual BA bootcamps offer 40-hours of hands-on training, led by expert instructors who have also been members of the IIBA’s BABoK V3 authoring team and/or exam committees. The curriculum covers key business analysis tasks, techniques, and deliverables, and is also designed to prepare attendees for the IIBA’s ECBA exam.

Adaptive US states that its upcoming bootcamps are ideal for those who are just beginning their career as a business analyst, transferring from another profession, or students who are currently enrolled in a BA academic program. The firm’s goal is to equip individuals with the fundamental BA skills that are now in demand all around the world.

As more organizations adopt big data to improve efficiency and better understand clients, the business analyst field is expected to be one of the fastest-growing over the next decade. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, vacancies are expected to grow by approximately 11%, with some specializations, such as computer systems analysts, projected to be as high as 25%.

While growth in the field is strong, Adaptive US explains that the variety of skills now expected of business analysts is also expanding. The company’s latest BA bootcamps were therefore developed to help students understand a broad range of techniques and process models, including the use of popular applications, including Jira, Balsamiq, MS Viso, and BizAgi BPM.

“Our Business Analyst Bootcamp equips professionals to land their first BA job, and enable them to perform the role with enhanced efficiency, confidence and consistency,” a company representative explained. “This is a highly interactive live training conducted by expert instructors, who have been part of the BABOK V3 authoring team and exam committees.”

UP Revenge? Remogat just wants to steady Maroons' ship

MANILA, Philippines -- Noy Remogat helped lead the way as University of the Philippines defeated last year's Finals tormentor De La Salle, 80-76, in the UAAP Season 89 men's basketball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena Sunday. Remogat fired a season-high 20 points including the insurance free throw in the last five seconds for the Fighting Maroons who held off the Green Archers fightback in the final canto. Asked if he's performance is fueled by thirst for revenge after last year's Finals heartbreak against La Salle, Remogat said he simply wanted to steady the ship for UP which snapped a 2-game skid. "I don't really have that hunger for revenge from last year," said Remogat. "After those last two losses, there’s something I want to achieve as a person and something we want to achieve as a team and that is to bounce back from those two losses and string together some wins." Remogat and the Fighting Maroons improved to 3-2 for a share of third place in the standings with the Adamson Soaring Falcons. UP looks to break that tie with Adamson on Wednesday and get a win run going. "We should set the tone in our practices," said Remogat. “But it wasn’t just me (today). Jacob (Bayla), James (Payosing) and our other leaders, Gani (Stevens) and Veejay (Pre), really stepped up, and the team responded.” Pre stepped up, indeed, and backstopped Remogat. The 6-foot-4 forward banged 19 points, seven rebounds, and three assits.
