Dare 2 Dream Mortgage Launches New Equity Loan Program for Coquitlam Homeowners

Sep 21, 2026

Dare 2 Dream Mortgage Company has launched a new Home Equity Loan Program for Coquitlam homeowners. This alternative financing solution allows property owners to access their housing wealth without breaking their existing first mortgages, providing fast liquidity for debt consolidation and renovations.

Kissimmee, United States, September 21, 2026 /PressCable/ -- COQUITLAM, B.C. — Dare 2 Dream Mortgage Company, a leading financial services provider and mortgage brokerage in the Lower Mainland, announces the official launch of its new Home Equity Loan Program. Specifically engineered for residential property owners across Coquitlam and the Tri-Cities area, this alternative financing initiative provides streamlined access to accumulated housing wealth. The program allows qualified homeowners to access liquid capital directly from their properties to fund debt consolidation, home renovations, or secondary investments without triggering the expensive penalties associated with breaking a prime first mortgage.

Residential real estate values in British Columbia remain a substantial component of household net worth. In growing communities like Burke Mountain, Westwood Plateau, and Austin Heights, long-term property appreciation has created billions of dollars in paper wealth. However, high consumer inflation, rising interest rates, and restrictive stress-test criteria implemented by traditional banks have left many local families cash-poor despite owning highly valuable real estate assets.

Standard institutional lenders regularly require homeowners to completely refinance their entire first mortgage to access equity. Breaking an existing low-rate mortgage can trigger severe financial penalties and force borrowers into higher current market rates across their entire debt balance. Alternatively, homeowners seeking standard lines of credit are frequently restricted by strict debt-to-income stress tests. Dare 2 Dream Mortgage Company addresses this specific market gap by creating an equity extraction pathway that leaves existing first mortgages completely untouched.

The newly launched Home Equity Loan Program functions as a highly flexible, low-friction financial instrument. By assessing the true market value of the local property rather than relying solely on rigid credit underwriting, the program unlocks capital through structured secondary financing structures.

Preservation of Primary Financing: The equity loan is registered as a secondary charge behind the existing first mortgage. This preserves the borrower's low historical interest rate on their primary loan, preventing thousands of dollars in early-termination bank fees.

Asset-Based Underwriting Flexibility: While traditional institutions enforce strict income verification models, this program prioritizes the Loan-to-Value (LTV) ratio of the property. This structural approach ensures self-employed individuals, business owners, and retirees can qualify based on their real estate wealth.

Rapid Processing Intervals: Because the program bypasses standard bureaucratic bank review cycles, approvals and capital disbursements can be completed in a fraction of the time required by institutional lenders, providing fast relief for pressing financial needs.

By deploying a structured equity loan, Coquitlam residents can strategically repurpose their home equity to eliminate high-interest consumer debt or add structural value to their properties. The direct financial advantages of this model become clear when compared to standard credit alternatives.

This framework helps families stabilize their household balance sheets. Instead of carrying multiple high-interest credit cards or personal loans, owners use a single, lower-cost equity loan to simplify their monthly financial obligations.

Delivering this level of specialized alternative lending requires extensive knowledge of British Columbia’s real estate guidelines and active private capital structures. Dare 2 Dream Mortgage Company utilizes its deep familiarity with Coquitlam neighborhoods and local property trends to deliver accurate valuations and customized exit strategies for every client.

"Many homeowners in our community are sitting on substantial home equity but find themselves struggling with monthly cash flow due to high living expenses," says Christian James Jung, Designated Individual for Dare 2 Dream Mortgage Company. "Our new Home Equity Loan Program acts as a tool to unlock that wealth safely. We give clients the capital they need to renovate, consolidate debt, or invest, without forcing them to give up their favorable first mortgage rates. It is about providing financial options when traditional institutions say no."

Tabanas carries PH youth to Taiwan

SIXTEEN-YEAR-OLD Isabella Tabanas gets her first taste of professional golf when she joins fellow ICTSI-backed amateurs Lisa and Mona Sarines in the Kenda Tire Cup, which gets under way Wednesday at the Taichung International Country Club in Taichung, Taiwan. The NT$4-million championship, the 16th leg of the LPGA of Taiwan Tour, is co-sanctioned by the Ladies Philippine Golf Tour and brings together the leading players from the LPGT and a strong international field. For Tabanas, however, the 54-hole event represents more than just another tournament — it marks her maiden appearance on the TLPGA, giving the promising Cagayan de Oro junior an early opportunity to test her game against seasoned professionals and top amateurs from across Asia. Tabanas, who has committed to play collegiate golf for Texas A&M University-Kingsville, is the latest addition to ICTSI’s growing stable of young players being given assistance and international exposure as part of a long-term program aimed at developing golfers capable of competing on the world stage. She will be joined by the Sarines twins, Lisa and Mona, who are also regarded as among the promising young talents in Philippine golf. The sisters have made early strides as junior golfers, gaining valuable experience in local and international competitions and steadily building the credentials that have marked them as potential future players on the LPGT. The three youngsters will have plenty to learn from the seasoned Filipina pros in the field, led by ICTSI-backed Yvon Bisera and Princess Superal, and Harmie Constantino, while also getting a firsthand look at the level required to compete successfully on the professional circuit. Kiara Montebon, 20, is also on the ICTSI roster. An incoming Biology junior, she competes for Chicago State University in US NCAA Division I. Tabanas hails from Cagayan de Oro and regularly plays at Del Monte Golf Club and Pueblo de Oro. She has competed in several tournaments in the United States since 2023 and continued her rise with a successful campaign in the FCG Collegiate Series Spring Classic at Pala Mesa Resort in Fallbrook, California last April. She heads into her first TLPGA tournament with enthusiasm and a clear development goal, hoping to sharpen her short game and improve her recovery shots around the green. Her presence, together with that of the Sarines twins, underscores the continuing push to give the country’s next generation of golfers meaningful exposure beyond junior competition.
