Crescent Bioresearch Publishes BPC-157 Endotoxin Certificate: Below 5 EU per Vial

Oct 22, 2026

The endotoxin result for BPC-157 lot CBR-BPC-260403-001 is less than 5 EU per vial, the lowest amount the test could read. The threshold is 350 EU per vial and the lysate sensitivity is 0.05 EU/mL.

Albany, United States, October 22, 2026 -- ALBANY, N.Y., Oct. 21, 2026 -- Crescent Bioresearch, a supplier of laboratory compounds, has published the certificate of analysis for BPC-157 lot CBR-BPC-260403-001. The endotoxin result is less than 5 EU per vial, the threshold is 350 EU per vial, the lysate sensitivity is 0.05 EU/mL, and the lot passed.

BPC-157, also known as Pentadecapeptide BPC 157, PL 14736, Bepecin, PL-10 and PLD-116, sequence GEPPPGKPADDAGLV, CAS 137525-51-0, is supplied by Crescent Bioresearch for laboratory research.

Signed BTLabs endotoxin report for BPC-157 10 mg, lot CBR-BPC-260403-001, with the result, sensitivity and threshold highlighted. Result below 5 EU per vial, threshold 350 EU per vial, lysate sensitivity 0.05 EU/mL, determination PASS. Kinetic turbidimetric LAL, USP 85.

What was measured

Endotoxin is lipopolysaccharide, a component of the cell wall of Gram-negative bacteria. It is released when the bacteria die, it survives sterilization, and it can be present in any compound that passed through a place where bacteria were present. The Limulus amebocyte lysate (LAL) test, performed under USP General Chapter 85, Bacterial Endotoxins Test, measures it in endotoxin units (EU). BTLabs, an independent laboratory in West Palm Beach, Florida, tested this lot on Sept. 24, 2026, with the vial dissolved in 2 mL for the test. The vial holds 10 mg, so the result is less than 0.5 EU per milligram.

What a result below the detection limit tells a research entity

Every endotoxin test has a lowest amount it can detect. For this lot, at the dilution used, that amount is 5 EU per vial, and the laboratory found nothing above it. The certificate reports the result as "less than 5 EU per vial" and states on the page that results reported this way are below the limit of detection for the assay. The vial therefore contains somewhere between zero and 5 EU, and the certificate tells the research entity exactly that.

A result like this is sometimes restated as "endotoxin free" or "none detected." Those phrases drop the detection limit, which is the figure a research entity uses. A research entity whose own requirement is 10 EU per vial can confirm from this certificate that the lot meets it. A research entity whose requirement is 1 EU per vial can see from this certificate that the test did not look that low, and that a test with a lower detection limit is needed before the lot is cleared for that work. Both decisions depend on the limit being printed.

A school exam shows the same thing

A student's report card says "pass." The passing mark is 65. The student could have scored 66 or 100, and the word "pass" does not say which. Only the score does.

The BPC-157 certificate prints the score: less than 5 EU per vial, against a threshold of 350. "Less than 5" is the lowest amount the test can detect, so it means the test found no endotoxin down to that level. The certificate prints that figure rather than writing "endotoxin free," because a research entity that needs a lower limit, such as 1 EU per vial, has to know how low the test could see.

Why the number must be on the certificate

A pass is the outcome of comparing a measured value against a threshold. When a certificate shows the pass and neither of the two figures behind it, nobody reading the certificate can repeat the comparison. The laboratory may have measured 2 EU or 300; the threshold may have been 40 or 1,000. A certificate like that records that a test took place and nothing else, and it cannot be taken as data.

For a result below detection, the number is the detection limit. The BPC-157 certificate prints "less than 5 EU per vial" rather than a word such as "endotoxin free." That figure is what allows a research entity to rule endotoxin out as the cause of what it observes, and to attribute its results to BPC-157 itself. A marked-up endotoxin page for another Crescent Bioresearch lot labels each of the four figures where it sits on the certificate.

"A result below detection is the best outcome an endotoxin test can give, and it still comes with a number," Crescent Bioresearch said. "That number tells a research entity whether the test looked low enough for its work. 'Endotoxin free' would not."

Savi Davison back in fiery form

MANILA, Philippines — Savi Davison is aware that she carries much of the scoring load for the PLDT High Speed Hitters. The Filipino-Canadian gunner finished as the No.1 Best Scorer in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Invitational Conference, where she mounted a total of 185 points and a conference-high of 37 points against Creamline. With an impressive performance in the previous tournament, Davison was struggling for a gunner who usually scores 20 points or more after chipping in low numbers in her first two games in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino. Davison only mounted 10 points in a loss over Nxled, followed by a career-low of five points in a defeat over Akari that left PLDT to suffer back-to-back beatings in its first two games. But Davison had enough with losing and finally led her team to victory against the fortified Capital 1 Solar Spikers. The 5-foot-8 spiker mounted 28 points on 23 attacks, four blocks, and an ace, and added 10 excellent digs and 18 excellent receptions in a four-set win against Capital 1. “I think we were... We weren't surprised by the 0-2 start, but I think we had to realize that everybody was getting better and we had to follow the pace,” Davison told the media. “We came from an Invitational where the Alas pros weren't here, and they make a really big difference when they're back on certain teams,” she added, noting the beefed-up roster of the PVL teams. Davison, who also had the help of Kianna Dy, Alleiah Malaluan, and Alas Pilipinas blocker Dell Palomata, also bared that she fully knew the load of responsibility of being a go-to scorer. “I honestly... It's hard. I'm not gonna lie, but I feel like Kath (Arado) also recognizes the position that I'm in. Like we... She's a really big part of our defense, and I feel like I carry the offensive side, but we do have a lot of pressure on us internally and externally.” “And we like to say that pressure is a privilege. Pressure is a privilege, and pressure makes diamonds. But at the same time, you just gotta calm yourself down, and everyone has a bad day, but let's just kind of, you know, mark more good days and bad days, hopefully.” PLDT (1-2) looks to pick up back-to-back wins when it faces Capital 1 (2-2) on Oct. 29, at the Santiago City Arena.
