Black Lantern Records, a not-for-profit artist centric independent record label based in the historic Roman City of Chester, UK, are thrilled to announce the arrival of WeatheredMan and The Noise to their stable of artists.

Black Lantern is a division of Red Lantern Records that caterns to the noisier end of music.  WeatheredMan and The Noise join our expanding roster of artists across Indie & Alt Rock, Post-Punk and Industrial Electonica genres.

Simon Bradshaw (AKA WeatheredMan) is an award-winning writer and producer currently working out of a number of studios across the north of England. Over the past few years he has worked with renowned artists from all over the globe (Red Hot Chilli Peppers, The Wombats, Cheryl Cole, Peter Hook) and recently scored a number one hit in 78 countries for his writing and production work on K-Pop legends ShinEE's "Don't Call Me" album.

As a performer himself in a variety of cult indie bands (largely via the Probe Plus label - the UK's longest running independent and publishers Bucks Music Group) he has accumulated support from all the UK's premier tastemakers (NME, Q, Huff Post, Louder Than War, Steve Lamacq, Jo Whiley, Zane Lowe, Tom Robinson, Gideon Coe and his treasured John Peel session), completed multiple US and European tours (including 3 trips for headline gig at SXSW).

Now recording as WeatheredMan, last year his many volumes of varied output were recognised when he was nominated as Best UK Solo Artist and for Best UK Song by the indie bible Pure M (alongside luminaries such as Zayn Malik, Kate Tempest, Adam Ant and Gaz Coombes) plus a nomination in 2022 at the PMA's for Best Indie/Alternative track.

After a successful EP in 2020 and a lauded Christmas single, WeatheredMan now presents his 2 piece rock band - WeatheredMan and the Noise. It's raw. It's loud. It's 2 men who frankly should know better, playing as if their lives depended on it.

The Elite Category, featured in major Philippine triathlon events such as the 5150 Triathlon and IRONMAN 70.3 series, is designed for qualified high-performance athletes, including past and current national team members. Ting of BE Tritans comes into the race with considerable momentum after winning the Subic International Triathlon and placing third in the Bohol 5150 last July. Arances, meanwhile, has built valuable experience through campaigns in various local and international endurance events, setting the stage for an intriguing showdown between two of the country’s rising male triathletes. Caluya likewise brings strong credentials to the women’s Elite field. The Filipino Elite Category is part of the Philippine Sports Commission’s continuing effort to strengthen the country’s high-performance sports program while using major competitions to promote national pride and sports tourism. The Damosa Land 5150 is also the final stop of the four-leg 5150 Triathlon Islands of the Philippines Series, which puts elite-level competition against some of the country’s most scenic sporting venues. Organized by Sunrise Events, Inc., the second staging features another strong field from across the Philippines, providing an even bigger test for the country’s emerging elite athletes and established race contenders. The inaugural Damosa Land 5150 established the event as a significant fixture on the Philippine triathlon calendar, combining scenic surroundings with demanding racing and breakthrough performances.
