Anger Management For Parents: Trigger Identification Program Announced

Oct 21, 2026

MIND REBOOT has released The Anger Reset System, a 30-day self-guided program that helps parents across the United States identify anger triggers and interrupt angry reactions before they escalate.

Fuengirola, Spain, October 21, 2026 /PressCable/ -- MIND REBOOT has released The Anger Reset System, a self-guided 30-day program that helps parents identify their anger triggers and interrupt angry reactions before they escalate. The program focuses on a moment many parents describe as a wake-up call: the point where they hear their own sharp words, tone, or reactions coming back from their children.

The announcement comes as recently published research links how parents manage their own emotions to both their parenting and their children's development. A meta-analytic review of 53 studies published between 2000 and 2020 found that parents with stronger emotion regulation skills tended to show more positive parenting behaviors. Their children also tended to regulate their own emotions better and show fewer internalizing symptoms.

Children often learn how to handle frustration by watching the adults around them, says the team at MIND REBOOT. Frustration expressed through shouting, sarcasm or sudden outbursts may become a child's default way of coping. A child who slams a door or repeats a parent's exact phrase in an argument may be reflecting what they have seen at home. Recognizing that pattern can be uncomfortable, but it also shows parents where change can start: with their own responses.

The Anger Reset System works in three steps. A Trigger Mapping Workbook helps parents track what sets off their anger so they can catch it earlier. The 3 Minute Reset Protocol offers a short routine for calming down in a tense moment, and Communication Scripts give parents phrases for speaking calmly during conflict. A 30-day guide sets out daily steps.

"Most parents never mean to pass on their temper," said a spokesperson for MIND REBOOT. "Children copy what they see far more than what they're told. When a parent hears their child yelling the way they yell, that isn't a reason for guilt. It's a signal, and the goal is to catch the reaction before it happens."

The program is self-guided and delivered digitally, with email support available and lifetime access to the materials. MIND REBOOT notes that it is not a substitute for professional mental health care.

Formula 1 star Perez considers early retirement amid Cadillac project

MEXICO CITY — Sergio “Checo” Pérez has been back in Formula 1 for less than a season and is already contemplating retirement. The Mexican driver said Tuesday that bringing Cadillac into a leading role in the sport’s top tier will take time, but he does not plan on competing with the team for much longer. “It’s a project that requires more time than I initially thought,” Pérez said in an interview with Televisa network. “I think giving a specific number (of years) is difficult, but it won’t be much longer.” The 36-year-old Pérez missed last season when Red Bull dropped him, but returned with Cadillac as it made its debut in the top category. His best results this season are a pair of 14th-place finishes. In addition, he has retired from five races due to various issues. “People who understand Formula 1 know the level I am driving at. It brought me great satisfaction to prove to myself that the circumstances of recent years were what kept me from showing my full talent,” he added. Cadillac, which also has Valtteri Bottas driving for the team, is bottom of the constructors’ championship, having yet to score a single point. “I’m aware that we are much closer to the end than the beginning, but that’s why I want to fully enjoy these Grands Prix — they are a dream,” Pérez said. Pérez explained that a key reason for considering retirement is wanting to spend more time with his wife, Carola Martínez, and their four children. “What really holds me back (from continuing) is my kids. I would love to stay as long as Fernando (Alonso), for example, but my children are at an age where I want to be around more,” he added. For now, Pérez is gearing up to compete in the United States Grand Prix later this week before heading to his home race, the Mexican Grand Prix, where he will reach 300 Formula 1 starts. “I’m excited about projects outside of motorsport,” he said. “I want to finish my time in Formula 1 on a high note, and all I can say is that we will know when (I retire) soon.”
