Foxies hand Titans first loss in PVL All-Filipino

MANILA, Philippines — The Farm Fresh Foxies pulled a reverse sweep over the heavily favored Choco Mucho Flying Titans, 20-25, 26-28, 25-23, 25-23, 15-13, in the 2026-27 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Thursday night at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. Farm Fresh also snapped Choco Mucho’s two-game winning streak and raised its win-loss record to 2-1. In the deciding frame, Farm Fresh held a 12-10 advantage with Trisha Tubu putting up the fight for the Foxies. However, Royse Tubino, former Choco Mucho player, committed back-to-back errors that allowed Choco Mucho to tie the match at 12-all. Tubu then hammered a kill, followed by Eya Laure’s attack error that gave the Foxies the match point advantage, 14-12. Laure quickly made up and scored, but it was all too late as Tubu scored a through-the-block hit to secure the win. Farm Fresh won over Galeries in its campaign opener, followed by a five-set loss over Nxled, then bounced back after winning its game over Choco Mucho to tally a 2-1 card. Mylene Paat took the player of the game plum after chipping in 15 points on 11 attacks and four blocks. Trisha Tubu backed her up with 14 markers, while Royse Tubino and Jonna Perdido added 12 and 11 points, each. Louie Romero orchestrated 15 excellent sets for Farm Fresh. Choco Mucho, on the other hand, was led by Sisi Rondina-Rosales, who made 22 points, as Eya Laure chipped in 18 markers that went down the drain. 9
